In Seattle, Salas O'Brien promoted Brenda Ross to vice president, and Karoline Derse and Nancy Wilcox to associate vice president. Ross, a senior architect, has been with the firm for over eight years, helping it develop relationships with data center clients in the U.S. and Canada. Blair does soil, groundwater and sediment investigations. Ives does environmental investigations and cleanups, and provides regulatory and permitting support to industrial clients. In Redmond, Otak hired Chad Oxford as a senior civil engineer and project manager, and Gwyneth Perry and Allison Nichols as engineering designers and water resource analysts. Oxford has 18 years of experience in rail and civil engineering design, utility design, program management, project controls, cost estimating, contract administration and construction management. He is working on a parking study for the University of Washington-Bothell campus. Perry has two years of public sector experience, with a background in hydrology and water resources. An engineering-in-training, she is working on retrofitting LID stormwater facilities in Burien. Nichols' experience includes stream restoration, hydraulic and environmental engineering, transportation design, hydrology, soil and fluid mechanics, stormwater management and geospatial data applications. Seattle-based Hart Crowser named David Winter chief executive officer and Jeff Wagner chief operating officer. In 26 years with the firm, Winter has led expansions and acquisitions. As a senior engineer, he has managed geotechnical and environmental projects in the U.S., Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America, from a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi to Seattle buildings. Wagner will manage day-to-day operations and oversee core business units. In his 33 years at Hart Crowser, he has been responsible for geotechnical design of hundreds of projects, including Bellevue Square, instrumentation for the SR-99 tunnel, and reclamation of abandoned mines. Hart Crowser is an engineering, science and consulting firm.
