Snohomish County PUD

Snohomish County Public Utility District CEO/General Manager Steve Klein will retire May 1. Klein has led the PUD for nine years and focused on smart grid upgrades, telecom technology and energy storage. The utility said it has become a national leader in tidal energy research. If needed, the utility will appoint an interim general manager prior to May 1 while it searches for a new CEO. Klein headed Tacoma Power for 13 years.

State Department of Veterans Affairs

Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs named Ronald Bergstrom superintendent of Washington Veterans Home in Retsil. He is an Air Force veteran and has experience providing long-term care in a number of states. He replaces Dax Dowling, who served as interim superintendent.

Flying House Productions

Dennis Coleman, artistic director of Seattle Men's Chorus and Seattle Women's Chorus, will retire in July of 2016 after more than 30 years of working in the Seattle LGBTQ and arts communities. During the 2015-2016 season Flying House Productions will search for a new artistic director.

Wuscher

Bank of America Merrill Lynch named Mark Wuscher head of the Pacific Northwest Global Transaction Services team, offering treasury and trade services to middle market companies. He will be based in Seattle, and focus on clients and prospects in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon and Washington. Wuscher is relocating from Seoul, where he led the BofA Merrill GTS team.

Allison+Partners has hired David Marriott and Joel VanEtta, formerly of Gogerty Marriott, to its corporate practice based in Seattle. Marriott is managing director, reputation risk, and reports to Senior Partner and Global Head of Corporate Matthew Della Croce. VanEtta is a senior vice president and reports to Marriott. Marriott has worked in broadcast journalism, politics, corporate and agency public relations, specializing in crisis communications. VanEtta joined Gogerty Marriott in 1987.

ChannelAdvisor

ChannelAdvisor of Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, a provider of cloud-based e-commerce services for retailers and manufacturers, opened an office at 2121 Fourth Ave. in Seattle to increase sales and support on the West Coast. ChannelAdvisor recently opened offices in Sydney, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Brazil. It makes software to automate and analyze online marketing.

River Country Transport

Acquired Sales Corp. of Lake Forest, Illinois, said it will acquire River Country Transport of Battle Ground for approximately $2 million. RCT is a liquid transport and environmental services company with tankers that deliver over 25 percent of the wastewater volume accepted by PPV, Inc. in Portland. Acquired Sales plans to acquire PPV and its wholly-owned subsidiary Bravo Environmental NW in Tukwila. The management team of RCT will continue to lead RCT.
