Betts, Patterson & Mines elected Pam Kohli Jacobson and Marissa Alkhazov to shareholder and Mark Mills to director. Jacobson heads the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Alkhazov is a complex litigation attorney. Mills advises insurers on coverage issues and represents them in related litigation.
Northwest Folklife named Sheila Siden development director. She was director of development for Artist Trust, and a development specialist for Nikkei Heritage Association of Washington's Japanese Cultural and Community Centery.

OpenSquare hired Lisa Arthofer as vice president of new business development. She was with Western Office Interiors. OpenSquare is an office furniture dealership in the Northwest created from the merger of Bank and Office Interiors, and Barclay Dean.
The Port of Everett contracted with Green Funnel Agency, represented by Vincent Sullivan, to serve as the Port's Midwest Agent and help generate additional cargo business. GFA is based in New Buffalo, Michigan, and specializes in the movement of high and heavy cargo.
