Northwest Kidney Centers, a nonprofit that provides dialysis care in King and Clallam counties, promoted three people. Tosha Whitley, RN, is clinical director of quality initiatives. Chris Grove, RN, is clinical director of management education and regulations. Cindy Black, RN, is clinical director at Kirkland, Lake City, Port Angeles, Northgate and West Seattle clinics.
America's Car Museum named Scharmach Enterprises President and CEO Manfred Scharmach to the board of directors. Scharmach owns and operates BMW Northwest, Northwest MINI, Seattle MINI and Northwest Pre-Owned Center.

Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, is opening an office in Seattle with Davis C. Bae, an immigration attorney with a national practice, as managing partner. Joining him are partners Nick Beermann and Catharine Morisset, and Of Counsel Robert Neale. Clarence Belnavis, a Fisher & Phillips partner in Portland, will split his time between the Seattle and Portland offices. The firm focuses exclusively on labor and employment law, with 300 attorneys in 31 offices including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Renton-based Odin named Mike Riolo general manager and vice president of sales for the Americas. Riolo has worked at Odin for 11 years and was vice president of cloud services automation. Odin provides software for the cloud, serving small hosters as well as global telecom providers.
The Estate Planning Council of Seattle has new officers for 2015-2016. P. Gerry Maurer with Northwestern Mutual is president, and immediate past president is Michael Vranizan of Vranizan & Associates. Kurt Olson with Fahlman Olson & Little is president-elect. Ron Nagle is treasurer and Carla Wigen is secretary.

Woodland Park Zoo Society President and CEO Dr. Deborah Jensen announced she will resign at the end of July. Bruce Bohmke, chief operations officer, will serve as acting president and CEO during the search for her successor. Jensen has led the zoo for 13 years, through a change of management from the city of Seattle to the society. It has an operating budget of $36 million. She will become distinguished practitioner in residence at the College of the Environment at the University of Washington this fall.
Jay Hember joins JayRay as senior art director. He worked with the MultiCare marketing team and was associate creative director at Russell Investments for 17 years.

Bellingham Technical College said Dr. Kimberly Perry will be its next president, starting in July 20. Dr. Patricia McKeown will retire at the end of June. Perry has been superintendent/president of Butte-Glenn Community College district in California, and also was vice president of academic affairs at Los Angeles City College. BTC offers 34 degrees and 51 certificates.
Shelf Awareness, a Seattle company that produces e-newsletters for booksellers and readers, hired Neil Strandberg as director of operations and technology. Strandberg has 30 years of experience in the bookselling business, and was director of technology for the American Booksellers Association. Before that he worked at Tattered Cover Book Store in Denver. He will oversee e-newsletter platforms, IT initiatives and systems.
