Gonzales

Mary Jo Gonzales, a senior administrator with the University of Rhode Island, is the new vice president for student affairs at Washington State University. Gonzales will be responsible for non-curricular aspects of student life.





Washington Student Achievement Council

Michael P. Meotti was appointed executive director of Washington Student Achievement Council by Governor Jay Inslee. He fills a vacancy resulting from the retirement of Dr. Gene Sharratt, the previous executive director. Meotti will assume his new role on Feb. 8. The council administers programs that help people attend college and advocates for higher education.

Northwest African American Museum

Ollee

The Northwest African American Museum named Dr. Mildred W. Ollee, former president of Seattle Central Community College, its interim executive director. She was president from 2003 to 2010, serving 23,000 students a year and managing a budget of over $80 million. Ollee also was president at Portland Community College.





KMS Financial Services

KMS Financial Services, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services, said Eric Westberg will become chairman and CEO; Tracy “Ace” Forsythe will become president and chief legal officer; and Aileen G. Krohn will become executive vice president. KMS is a Seattle-based broker-dealer and investment advisory firm. Westberg succeeds Mark Hamby, who is retiring after 33 years with KMS.

Puget Sound Bank, the bank subsidiary of Puget Sound Bancorp, hired Arnie Gunderson as senior vice president, relationship manager. He has nearly 30 years of banking and financial services experience.

Seattle Art Museum

Bolton

Seattle Art Museum named Cindy Bolton chief financial officer, a new position overseeing finance, human resources, legal and volunteer programs. Bolton was head of finance at two Seattle startups — buuteeq and TINYpulse — and worked at Microsoft for 10 years, where she last was senior finance director for the U.S. Enterprise & Partner Group. She also was senior finance manager at Unilever.

Perkins Coie

Perkins Coie said it has been recognized as one of the top three law firms in Microsoft's FY16 Law Firm Diversity Program, which focuses on increasing diversity in partner and leadership ranks. The other winners are K&L Gates, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
