Ecova

Lelievre

Ecova, a Spokane-based energy and sustainability management company, named Mathias Lelievre president and chief executive officer. Ecova's interim president and CEO, Martin Sieh, will continue as chief operating officer. Lelievre was head of Engie's Green Mobility Program, and also served as advisor and deputy chief of staff for the French Minister for Industry and then Economy from 2012 to 2014, in charge of industry, energy and mining sectors.

First Financial Northwest

First Financial Northwest of Renton bought four branches from Opus Bank in Smokey Point, Lake Stevens, Clearview and Woodinville, along with $75 million in customer deposits. The bank also has branches in Bellevue, Mill Creek, Edmonds and The Landing in Renton, and said it expects to have 10 by the end of the year.

Freedom Medical Supply

Boise-based Norco, a welding, safety, medical and gas supplier, has acquired Freedom Medical Supply in Yakima, to expand its medical home care business in central Washington. Norco assumes ownership Oct. 1. Freedom Medical Supply has operated in the Yakima Valley for five years, providing CPAP, respiratory, home medical and oxygen services, equipment and supplies. Norco has more than 70 branches in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.

Teatro ZinZanni

Teatro ZinZanni will partner with local restaurateur and chef Jason Wilson when the “Love, Chaos, and Dinner” show opens next month at King County's Marymoor Park. Brewer

Starbucks named Rosalind Brewer group president and chief operating officer. She was president and CEO of Sam's Club, and is a Starbucks board member, with more than 30 years of management experience. Brewer will lead operating businesses across the Americas, as well as supply chain, product innovation and store development.

Woodland Park Zoo

Smith

Woodland Park Zoo has a new vice president of business development and finance: Michele Smith. Smith was with Vistatec as senior vice president of business development worldwide. She also worked with Lionbridge Technologies, Living Social and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Russell Investments

Seitz

Seattle-based Russell Investments named Michelle Seitz chief executive officer and a director on the board. She will become chairman of the board Jan. 1, 2018. Seitz succeeds Len Brennan who will become a strategic advisor to the firm at the end of the year. Seitz joins Russell after 16 years leading William Blair Investment Management. She has also worked at Concord Investment Co. and Nationsbank.

Stokes Lawrence

Stokes Lawrence said Kathleen Burton has joined as an associate in the Financial Services practice. She previously worked in the legal department of Intellectual Ventures. She will focus on commercial lending for commercial real estate, small business, affordable housing and community development, municipal lending, and tax-exempt financing. The firm has offices in Seattle and Yakima.
