Swinerton Builders

The Bellevue office of Swinerton Builders added Lou Zonta as business development manager. Zonta has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate and construction industries, including asset, leasing and brokerage management in Southern California and the Pacific Northwest. He also helped two international general contracting firms grow their businesses in the U.S. He is a graduate of the Urban Land Economics program at the University of British Columbia and the Marketing Management program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

EagleView Technologies

Heidi J. Ellsworth joined roofing software company EagleView Technologies as marketing director. Ellsworth has been in the roofing industry since 1993, holding positions at Malarkey Roofing, Carlisle SynTec and EcoStar. She also ran a roofing-focused marketing firm called HJE Marketing. In her new role, she is responsible for marketing communications, product marketing, advertising, new product launches and strategic positioning in both the roofing and insurance industries. Bothell-based EagleView develops aerial roof measurement software.

Jackson Dean Construction

Miller
Seattle's Jackson Dean Construction hired Melanie Miller as a contracts/accounting clerk. Miller has four years of subcontractor office experience and two years of experience at an architectural firm, both in Chicago. She was previously employed at Sierra Construction for three years. Jackson Dean operates in 40 states and specializes in office buildings, retail, restaurants, warehouses, medical facilities, hotels and food plants.

Gray Lumber Co.

Yontz Miller has become an outside sales representative for residential products at Gray Lumber Co. of Tacoma. The company also hired Jim O'Neal as a wholesale lumber broker and Sarah Ortega in custom window and door sales. Miller has been with the company for 11 years, pushing a broom at first, then working in the yard for five years, followed by 1.5 years in hardware counter sales and more than four years with inside counter sales. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Washington's Milgard School of Business. O'Neal began his lumber career in 1988 as an outside sales representative, and specializes in mill-direct sales to infrastructure contractors. Ortega has 12 years of window experience, starting in 1998 on the production floor with Milgard Manufacturing and moving into that firm's sales team in 2003.

Dunkin & Bush

Kirkland-based Dunkin & Bush received national certification as a women's business enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. The certification standards included an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. Dunkin & Bush offers industrial services such as coatings and linings, lead abatement, fireproofing, consulting and inspection.

Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker

Law firm Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker of Seattle joined the Council of Electri International — The Foundation for Electrical Construction. Oles joined at the founder level, which requires a minimum $100,000 donation. An Oles press release said the firm decided to make the gift because it is committed to contractor education, which the foundation provides to the electrical industry.
