Foushee & Associates promoted Robert Guymer to COO and Derek Groth to project manager, and added Jonathan Stob, Matt Davis and Jeff Dixon as project engineers. Guymer has been at Foushee for 23 years, where he has focused on construction of technology facilities, offices, private educational facilities, medical offices, industrial buildings and retail stores. Groth's recent projects include Seattle Goodwill JTE and Ignition Partners. Stob was an intern at the firm and is graduating this month from the University of Washington's construction management program. Davis and Dixon recently received bachelor's degrees in construction management from Washington State University.



The Seattle office of Swinerton Builders hired Ross Robinson as assistant project manager, Devin Hemeon as project engineer and Bret Peterson as superintendent. Robinson previously worked at BNBuilders and has been in the construction industry for six years. Hemeon previously worked for PWC Construction and has eight years of industry experience. Peterson previously worked at Panattoni Construction and has been in the industry for 35 years. Swinerton is based in San Francisco.

Gayane Aghazarian joined Walsh Construction Co. as integrated design project engineer for the Washington region. Aghazarian has 10 years of architecture and construction experience. In her new role, she is using modeling tools to support the project team during the preconstruction and construction phases.

Seattle-based Global Diving & Salvage hired Tracy Krawiec as a dive safety specialist in the Health, Safety & Environment Group. Krawiec has more than 16 years of diving experience, serving as diver, dive supervisor, project manager, and in various management positions. He is based in the Seattle office.

Tacoma-based Korsmo Construction hired Steve Rich as a project manager. Rich has more than 20 years of experience in construction management and preconstruction services on projects up to $90 million. At Korsmo, Rich is focusing on design-build projects as well as private development client relations. He is a certified Project Management Professional and LEED AP, and holds a master's degree in engineering management.

Lamont Jacobsen joined JayMarc Homes as chief financial officer. Jacobsen previously was CFO for one of the largest privately held builders in the region. He holds a bachelor's degree in business with an accounting emphasis from the University of Washington, and passed the CPA exam on his first sitting. Renton-based JayMarc builds luxury and custom homes in the greater Seattle area.
