The Seattle office of BNBuilders hired Justin Robertson as project manager, Brian Dague as senior project manager and Erich Hoobler as superintendent. Robertson holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech University, and has experience ranging from new office buildings to renovations of industrial and manufacturing facilities. Dague has 16 years of experience with new construction and renovations to healthcare facilities and higher education projects. Hoobler has more than 19 years of experience with projects in the mixed-use, apartment and condo markets.

Hill International

Nuernberger

Hill International hired Michael Nuernberger as project manager for the WSU Wine Science Center in Richland. Nuernberger is in charge of managing the budget and FFE budget/ordering processes, punchlist verification and project closeout. He also is construction manager for a school addition for the Entiat School District, and for athletic field improvements for the Cascade School District.

Ballard Marine Construction

Washougal-based Ballard Marine Construction was certified as a Women Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. Shilo Hutton is the company's founder and president. Hutton owns 95 percent of the company that grew from a garage start-up to one with offices in five states.

Divcon Inc.

Spokane Valley-based Divcon Inc. won a 2014 Alphonse Engelman Safety Award from the Tilt-Up Concrete Association. Divcon won in the category Zero Lost Time Accident Achievement. Winners were announced last month at TCA's annual convention in San Jose, California.

Phoenix Builders

Seattle-based Phoenix Builders was added to the national network of builders for American Buildings Co. Eufaula, Alabama-based American Buildings makes and sells metal building systems for the industrial, commercial and institutional construction markets. Marilynn Moch is president of Phoenix Builders.

Allied Steel Buildings

Allied Steel Buildings opened an office in Utah to serve the West Coast. Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Allied specializes in pre-engineered and structural steel building projects. Benjamin Meister is vice president of the western region.

The Seattle office of Abbott Construction hired Stefan Altberg as project engineer, and promoted Tim Beecher to superintendent, Sean Doull to project manager, Lynell Reineccius to senior project engineer and Joel Hagemeyer to IT manager. Altberg interned at the company last summer and recently earned a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Washington. Beecher has been with Abbott for 20 years and oversees work at various MultiCare projects. Doull joined the Abbott California office in 2008 and is managing renovations at CHCSC Lynnwood. Reineccius has been with the company for eight years and is working on projects at Tacoma General Hospital. Hagemeyer joined the IT department in 2008 and has moved from the help desk to managing computer systems.

The Seattle office of Andersen Construction hired George Cannon as superintendent in the Special Projects Division, Melissa Teichman as project manager and Adam Heffner as project engineer. Cannon has more than 30 years of construction experience. Teichman has more than 10 years of construction experience, and is LEED AP BD+C and Living Future Accredited. Heffner has been working in construction for three years and holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University.

The Seattle office of Andersen Structures hired Dylan DePaulo as concrete operations manager and Chris Hong as project engineer. DePaulo is a LEED Accredited Professional and is experienced in structural concrete projects. Hong recently earned a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Southern California.

Walsh Construction Co.

Zastko

Peter Zastko was promoted to superintendent in the Seattle office of Walsh Construction Co. Zastko joined the company in 2001 as a laborer, and became laborer foreman in 2007 and assistant superintendent in 2012. His responsibilities include safety, quality, project schedule, budget, and jobsite administration and logistics.

Owens

Ned Owens was named chief financial officer at Forma Construction in Olympia. Owens succeeds Harvey Hanson, who will retire in December after 27 years with the company. Owens, a CPA, worked for 13 years as a tax and audit associate and manager at McGladrey LLP. He holds a bachelor's degree from Connecticut College, an MBA from Seattle University and a master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.

Hill International

Heinz

Gregory Heinz assumed management of Hill International's Spokane operations. Heinz is the operations and business development manager for Hill in Seattle, and will oversee the consolidation of the two offices. He has 20 years of experience with public and private infrastructure projects, and holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

Bigfoot Crane Co.

Bigfoot Crane Co. acquired the self-erecting crane and equipment division of Eagle West Cranes & Equipment. Bigfoot is based in Abbotsford, B.C., and operates its U.S. division out of Bellingham. Eagle is also based in Abbotsford, with five branches in British Columbia.
