Rafn Co. promoted Steve Stroming to project executive, Christopher Imbeau to marketing director and Kurth Connell to assistant project manager/building information modeler; and hired Miles Taylor as service tech manager. Stroming has been with Rafn for 24 years and previously was senior project manager. He also is on the board of the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation. Imbeau has been at Rafn for eight years and is now directing all marketing and communication initiatives. He is a Certified Professional Services Marketer, past president of SMPS Seattle, and has 15 years of marketing experience. Connell, a nine-year employee, is working on a large mixed-use project in Wallingford, and is leading Rafn's in-house BIM efforts. Taylor previously owned a general contracting firm

Bay Shore Systems

Keegan

Rathdrum, Idaho-based Bay Shore Systems hired Debby Keegan as marketing manager. Keegan previously worked in marketing in the business-to-business sector. Bay Shore makes foundation drilling and earth retention equipment, including the LoDril drilling attachment for excavators.

Global Diving & Salvage

Seattle-based Global Diving & Salvage hired Mike Brown as vice president of energy services in its Houston office. Brown has more than 38 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, beginning his career as a commercial diver.

Wayne's Roofing

Sumner-based Wayne's Roofing was named 2015 Subcontractor of the Year by Washington Patriot Construction. The award was voted on by Washington Patriot staff.

Franklin

The Seattle office of Skanska hired Angel Franklin as talent development director for the western region. Franklin and the HR team are supporting development of emerging executives and those with high potential in the early stages of their careers. She has 10 years of HR experience, and previously was global leader in talent management and development at Kellogg Co. She holds a bachelor's degree in human resource management from the University of Central Florida.

Express Construction Co.

Featherstone

Eric Featherstone joined Express Construction Co. in Bellevue as business development manager. Featherstone previously was business development director at GB Systems, and served as executive director of NAIOP for 14 years prior to that. He also was partner and vice president at Melby, Cameron and Anderson, an association management firm.

PacWest Machinery

Jolene Logue was named president of PacWest Machinery in Seattle. Logue for a number of years was branch manager, regional director and regional vice president at Ingersoll-Rand, and also had a stint as regional vice president at Volvo Construction Equipment. She holds a bachelor's degree from San Diego State University and an MBA from New York University. PacWest recently bought the operating assets of Clyde/West of Portland, and was appointed Volvo Construction Equipment dealer in Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho.

Modern Machinery

Modern Machinery is now representing Carlson Paving Products in Washington, Oregon and northern Idaho. Carlson is a Tacoma-based manufacturer of asphalt paving equipment and products. Modern is one of the largest Komatsu dealers in North America.

Korsmo Construction

Tacoma-based Korsmo Construction wrapped up 2015 with zero OHSA recordable incidents while logging 150,00 labor hours. Korsmo says the milestone was accomplished through the addition of Jay Bohl as full-time site safety manager (visiting all jobsites on a weekly basis), as well as OSHA 30 training of all supervisors and an improved job hazard analysis program. Don Coovert is Korsmo's safety director.
