Portland-based Erickson Inc. appointed Rob Lewis as vice president and general manager of the Commercial Business Unit, Andy Mills as vice president of global business development, Gary Starr as vice president of global supply chain, Erick Nodland as global director of operations, John Patriarch as sales manager to the Department of Defense, and Chris Maynard as business development manager for Alaska. Erickson provides aviation services around the world for powerline construction, timber harvesting, HVAC and other projects.

Scott Williams, president of Hamilton Construction Co. in Springfield, Oregon, was elected 2016 board chairman of TRIP, a national transportation research nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. Williams has been on the TRIP board since 2003.

PCL Construction

Fortune magazine named PCL Construction to its “100 Best Companies to Work For” list for the 11th consecutive year. PCL moved up seven spots to number 60 on the list this year. It has a branch office in Bellevue.

In Gig Harbor, Rush Commercial hired Christopher Rawlins as project manager, Larry Hutchinson as senior project manager and Aaron Wells as carpenter; and promoted Tim Callahan to project manager. Rawlins comes from Abbott Construction, and is experienced in medical, retail and multifamily projects. Hutchinson comes from General Management & Development and Lease Crutcher Lewis. He is experienced in estimating and preconstruction of commercial projects. Wells has been a carpenter for several years locally. Callahan is working on The Origin, a 162-unit apartment in north Seattle. Rush Commercial is one of the six core businesses at The Rush Companies.

Bayley Construction hired Max Jones and Tony Betz as project managers, Rennie Perales and Jon Dasho as project engineers, and Stan Hayes as superintendent. Jones has more than 20 years of experience in commercial, public works, medical and tenant improvement projects. Betz has more than 22 years of experience in managing multiple projects, including medical and office TIs. Perales has experience in retail and mixed-use/multifamily projects. Dasho is a recent graduate of Central Washington University. Hayes has been in the construction industry for more than 30 years, managing medical, retail, high-tech, federal and educational projects.

The board of directors of Apprenticeship & Non-Traditional Employment for Women hired Karen Dove as executive director. Dove comes from RDI Financial, where she was executive director for five years. She formed RDI to provide safe and affordable financial products and development services for individuals and small businesses. Dove is an Accredited Financial Counselor and holds a certificate in Community Development Finance.

Tacoma-based Korsmo Construction hired Pat Riggs to lead the company's Finance Department and support its growing project roster. Riggs has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry in positions ranging from analyst to CFO to COO. He holds an MBA from the University of Puget Sound.
