SEATTLE -- The Cultural Development Authority of King County will award $926,000 in Cultural Facility funds to 56 arts and heritage projects, the agency said.
The Wing Luke Asian Museum, Pratt Fine Art Center, Cornish College of the Arts, and Burke Museum won the largest awards, which range from $1,500 to $100,000, for building, renovating and acquiring property and equipment for cultural facilities.
Wing Luke will use $100,000 to buy and renovate the International District's Kong Yick Building. Cornish will use a $75,000 award to help renovate property in the Denny Triangle, according to the agency.
