Kleinfelder announced Robert L. Plum has joined the Seattle office as a principal geotechnical engineer. He will handle technical and project management on large transportation projects. Plum has served as the geotechnical lead on numerous major projects, including the preliminary design investigation of several stations along the Los Angeles subway system, reconstruction of Interstate 90 through Mercer Island and the new Spirit Lake Highway to Mount St. Helens
