New agency would plan transportation

BELLEVUE — Public hearings will be held tonight and next week on the Regional Transportation Commission's proposal to create a single agency that would prioritize, plan and finance transportation projects in the Puget Sound region.

The state legislature created the advisory commission earlier this year to make recommendations on governance and funding of transportation.
