Members of the Seattle City Council want to know what's caused a rise in this year's pedestrian/vehicle collisions and are investigating if street design can help reduce accidents.
The Special Committee on Pedestrian Safety met with members of the Seattle Pedestrian Advisory Board last week to check up on its progress for the city's pedestrian master plan. It also met with members of SDOT and SPD to see how well those on foot fare today.
