Mountlake Terrace prepares 57 acres for new town center

    The superblock will be the center of the new town center, with a public plaza and retail space.

    Across the street from the Mountlake Terrace City Hall today is a Shell gas station and a small strip mall with a butcher shop, Chinese restaurant, dry cleaner and a pizza place. A Calvary Fellowship church and a retirement community are there too, dwarfed by parking lots.
