Seattle Parks wins four state awards

SEATTLE — Seattle Parks and Recreation won four Washington Recreation and Park Association 2008 awards that recognize organizations and individuals for their contributions to the field of parks and recreation.

Parks won a best facility award for the Nothgate Community Center, a LEED gold certified project. It won best poster for its Celebrate Center City brochure, designed to promote the schedule of programs and activities to revitalize downtown parks.
