OLYMPIA — Gov. Chris Gregoire has postponed her decision on how to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct, a decision she had promised to make this week.
“[T]here continues to be extraordinary stakeholder response to the list of potential viaduct replacement options,” Gregoire said in a joint statement with Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels and King County Executive Ron Sims issued from her office yesterday. “As a result ... we have asked our respective transportation teams to continue their review.”
