New historic preservation group is starting in Seattle

Historic preservation doesn't immediately come to mind when people think about green building, and Richard Moe says it's time to change that.

Moe, president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is trying to bring preservation into the growing national conversation about sustainable development. He said people need to recognize the energy that's saved when buildings aren't torn down, and reward energy efficiency improvements to those buildings.
