Suquamish building construction done

The building will be used for tribal ceremonies, celebrations and public meetings.

Construction is complete on the House of Awakened Culture for the Suquamish Tribe. The building, whose Lushootseed name is pronounced skwehd-zah-dud-culth-altw, was designed by Mithun and built by Drury Construction of Poulsbo. It is at 7325 N.E. Parkway in Suquamish.
