Preservation moves to parks committee

The Seattle City Council's Parks and Seattle Center Committee is now in charge of overseeing historic preservation issues in Seattle.

The parks committee, which Tom Rasmussen leads, will review landmark designations and approve appointments to the Landmarks Preservation Board.
