Old church may become a theater

SEATTLE — A land-use application has been filed with the city of Seattle to change the use of a landmarked structure at 2656 42nd Ave. S.W. from a religious facility to a theater and spectator sports facility, according to a city notice.

The structure is a Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist.
