SEATTLE — The Washington State Department of Transportation will close the Alaskan Way Viaduct on Saturday and Sunday for the semiannual inspection.
Crews will close both decks from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Expect increased congestion on all major north-south routes and plan accordingly, WSDOT officials say.
