The city of Seattle is seeking landscape architects to design new parks above both the West Seattle Reservoir and the Maple Leaf Reservoir. Statements of qualifications were due last week.
The projects are part of Seattle Public Utility's $150 million Reservoir Burying Program. Under the program, reservoirs are buried under ground and topped with a lid. The area above and around the reservoirs is turned into parks.
