City picks James Corner team as lead designer for waterfront

Seattle city officials have picked New York City-based James Corner Field Operations to lead the team that will redesign the Central Waterfront. In announcing the selection, they cited Corner's desire to get the project moving quickly and his understanding of Seattle's “grittiness.”
