Jon Magnusson talks about EMP and other scary projects

Magnusson’s solution for EMP’s structural system was close to home: the human skeleton. A modified rib cage made of steel was built to support a building with no right angles.

Jon Magnusson always likes a challenge, but when architects with Gehry Partners presented him with a preliminary design for the Experience Music Project, Magnusson said he was more than a little concerned.
