Design forum on tunnel buildings

The Sealaska Heritage Institute is planning an $18 million cultural center for a site in Juneau and hopes to start construction within 18 months. [enlarge]

AIA Seattle is holding a free urban design forum next Tuesday about the operations buildings that will be built above the north and south portals for the state Route 99 tunnel. The event is from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at AIA Seattle's offices.
