95 teams enter design idea contest

SEATTLE — Ninety-five teams from 21 countries have registered to compete in a contest to design public space for a 9-acre site at Seattle Center that includes Memorial Stadium.

Registration ends Jan. 27 for Urban Intervention: The Howard S. Wright Design Ideas Competition for Public Spaces, with prizes that total $120,000.
