SDOT gets a lot of interest in seawall RFQ

  • The city expects to issue the RFQ by Feb. 27 and pick a team in May to complete design and engineering for the $300 million construction project.

    The Seattle Department of Transportation plans to release a request for qualifications at the end of the month for the design and engineering of a new seawall on Elliott Bay.

    SDOT also is looking for ways to increase the number of women and minority firms on the teams.
