Officials push for $25M to study getting light rail to Federal Way

State and county leaders from Federal Way are asking Sound Transit to spend $25 million to study extending light rail to their city.

During a press conference yesterday, state Sen. Tracy Eide and King County Councilman Pete von Reichbauer said they would submit the request at Thursday's meeting of Sound Transit's Capital Committee.
