Project of the Month: Duplex designers are also swinging the hammers

    Lever Homes is an infill duplex on a long and narrow lot in Judkins Park. The unusual roof is traditional in shape yet completely modern in attitude.

    Like many architects working in design-conscious Seattle, Kevin Witt and Taylor Callaway of First Lamp Architecture and Construction are steeped in a modernist design culture. They favor strong, clear geometries. Function is king, and nothing pretends to be what it's not.
