FabLab opening space in Tacoma

TACOMA — FabLab Tacoma, a membership-based do-it-yourself workshop, will open a space in downtown Tacoma next month near the University of Washington campus in Tacoma.

Stephen Tibbitts, founder of FabLab Tacoma, said FabLab will be at 1938 Market. It is designed for hobbyists, inventors, entrepreneurs, artists and students and will be equipped with 3D-Printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, CAD stations and other high-tech shop equipment.
