Cary Kopczynski & Co.

Bellevue-based Cary Kopczynski & Co. structural engineering firm hired Al Leaverenz as an associate and BIM/CAD manager, Elaine Peng as senior design engineer, Gregg Vernon as senior CAD designer and Allison Tran as administrative assistant. Leaverenz has more than 30 years of experience and returns to CKC after running his own CAD/BIM company. He manages CKC's drafting/production department. Peng has 13 years of experience. She is working on 815 Pine, a 40-story apartment tower in downtown Seattle, and Ameristar, a $500 million gaming resort in Louisiana. Vernon has 23 years of experience in structural drafting, including six years with BIM and Revit. He is working on the Avalon University District project and The Vermont, a 30-story apartment project in Los Angeles. Tran has five years of experience as a special education teacher and a title specialist at a law firm. CKC designs urban buildings and parking structures in the United States and elsewhere.
