Allen brain institute gets design review

SEATTLE — Vulcan Real Estate has filed plans with the city for a six-story building at the northwest corner of Mercer Street and Westlake Avenue North.

The 245,000-square-foot project will be the new home for the Allen Institute for Brain Science, currently based in Fremont. The move was announced earlier this month.
