U of I gets $3.4M for transpo research

MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Transportation research at the University of Idaho into fuel efficiency and pollution emissions got an important boost this week in the form of a $3.4 million federal grant.

The university's National Institute for Advance Transportation Technology announced the grant Friday. The federal cash enables the center to continue its research for a second year.
