Eugene opts to redesign City Hall

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — The city of Eugene will spend $750,000 on designs for a downsized City Hall that could be finished in less than three years.

The Register-Guard reports that the City Council unanimously supported the proposal Wednesday, rejecting an idea to raze the existing building and replace it with an all-new structure.
