Hewitt promoted Leah Ephrem and Matthew Porteous to principal, Sean Ludviksen to senior associate, and Jake Woland, Eva Talbot and Julia Nagele to associate. Also it hired Rene Fresquez as a staff architect. Ephrem has been with Hewitt for four years and is architectural project manager for the Lynnwood Link extension. Porteous, a landscape architect, has been with the firm for 12 years, focusing on master planning and urban landscapes. He manages the Bell Street Park Boulevard. Ludviksen joined Hewitt in 2011 and focuses on multi-family and mixed-use projects, and is managing design of a Seattle high-rise. Woland has been with the firm for five years as a landscape architect. He recently completed site work for GreenHouse Apartments. Talbot began her career with Hewitt, and has worked on residential and mixed-use projects including Alto, Third/Cedar and Second/Bell. Nagele specializes in residential and commercial design, and is working on Melrose/Pine design teams. Fresquez joined the residential studio, bringing nine years of experience in rendering and graphic design, modeling and visualization. Hewitt is a Seattle-based architecture, landscape architecture and urban design firm.
