SEATTLE — The American Institute of Architects named eight AIA Seattle members to its prestigious 2013 College of Fellows, honoring them for significant contributions to the profession.
The fellows are Lesley Bain of Weinstein A|U, Mario Campos of Jones & Jones, Bill Gaylord of GGLO, Ray Johnston of Johnston Architects, Ric Peterson of Suyama Peterson Deguchi, Walter Schacht of Schacht|Aslani Architects, George Shaw of LMN Architects, and Amanda Sturgeon of the International Living Future Institute.
AIA also named as a fellow Gregory Kessler, director of Washington State University's School of Design and Construction.
The 122 fellows chosen this year will be honored at the 2013 National AIA Convention and Design Exposition in Denver June 20-22. Only 3 percent of AIA's 80,000 members are fellows.
