SEATTLE — Seattle Tunnel Partners, the design-build firm doing the state Route 99 tunnel project, will hold an open house from 8:30 to 11 a.m. March 28 at South Seattle Community College to help disadvantaged businesses learn about opportunities to work on the tunnel operations buildings.
Seattle Tunnel Partners has a $1.35 billion contract and has awarded about $30 million of work to 60 disadvantaged businesses. It needs to award another $61 million to meet WSDOT's project goal.
