Federal Way OKs arts center design

FEDERAL WAY — Federal Way City Council has commissioned schematic design for the downtown Performing Arts & Conference Center. The center is estimated to cost $31 million.

The complex would be adjacent to the transit center and a proposed “town square,” with a two-acre plaza and private development such as restaurants, shops and housing.
