Callison, a Seattle-based global architecture and design firm, promoted 11 people to principal, including eight in the Seattle office: Lloyd Baker, Todd Enoki, Esmeraldo (Raldi) Formantes, Cindi Kato, Jae Kim, Karen Oshiro, Diljit Sethi and Bret Wiggins. Brian Adams was promoted in the Dallas office, Doug Shaw in the Beijing office and Gerald Allbury in the London office. Baker has worked on global commercial projects from Seattle for 15 years, has led work overseas for more than 25, and is leading design on a retail/mixed-use project in Mexico City. Enoki has done global commercial work from Seattle for 13 years and worked on projects overseas for 20-plus years, including Mission Hills Haikou, a resort on Hainan Island, China. Formantes has done commercial projects from Seattle for 15 years, and has 25 years of international architecture, planning and design experience, including a lifestyle center for Greenland in Xuhui, Shanghai. Kato has worked on global retail projects from Seattle for 25 years. She has 31 years of retail, hospitality, restaurant, health care and banking experience in the U.S., with projects that include Cole Haan and Dockers. Kim has done global commercial work from Seattle for eight years. He has worked in the U.S., Middle East, China and India markets, including with developers L&T Crescent Bay and Omkar Alta Monte. Oshiro has worked on global retail projects from the Seattle office for 20 years, including stores for Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids. Sethi has done global commercial work from Seattle for eight years, and been involved in projects in the U.S. and abroad for the last 25. Recently, he worked on residential/office high-rises and other developments in India. Wiggins has done global commercial work from Seattle for 19 years, including shopping centers and and mixed-use projects. His recent work includes the University Village expansion. Adams has worked on global commercial projects from Dallas for five years, and done work locally and abroad for 23-plus years, including a master-planned resort in Aqaba, Jordan. Shaw has worked on global retail and commercial projects in the Seattle, Dubai and Beijing offices for more than 23 years, including Chongqing Rongheng, a luxury retail and entertainment destination in China. Allbury has worked on global retail developments from the London office for four years and done project management and design delivery for more than 17. His clients have included retailers Harvey Nichols and Harrods. Callison has more than 900 employees, with offices also in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Dallas, Scottsdale, New York, London, Dubai, Beijing and Shanghai.
