Alaska seeks design for a $210M ferry

KODIAK, Alaska (AP) — The state of Alaska has started the process of eventually replacing the 49-year-old state ferry Tustumena.

The Kodiak Daily Mirror reports (http://is.gd/lymWS9) the state is seeking a consultant to design the new ferry, which serves Homer, Seldovia, Kodiak and the Aleutian chain.
