Griffiths propose gondolas to connect downtown with waterfront

In 2016 privately financed gondolas could travel above Union Street, carrying up to 20,000 people per day.

The Griffith family, developers of the Seattle Great Wheel, wants to build gondolas along Union Street that could carry as many as 20,000 people per day between downtown and the waterfront.
