DCI Engineers promoted Mark Moorleghen, Bruce Zhong and Brent Robinson to principal and Scott Erickson, Phil Johnson and Darren Simpson to associate principal in its Seattle headquarters. Moorleghen has more than 34 years of experience on medical, office, commercial and industrial facilities, including Swedish Hospital's Issaquah Campus. Zhong has more than 22 years of structural engineering experience on commercial, retail, residential, institutional and industrial projects, including the Microsoft Advanta Office Commons in Bellevue. Robinson has more than 21 years of structural engineering experience on office, multifamily, tenant improvement and church projects, and managed The Neptune Apartments in Seattle. Erickson has 18 years of structural engineering experience with high-rise residential, hospitality and office tower design, and is working on the 36-story Madison Centre office building in Seattle. Johnson has 10 years of structural engineering experience with mixed-use, residential and office projects, and worked on The Bullitt Center in Seattle. Simpson has been the civil department manager for 10 years, and has more than 25 years of professional experience overall, with most of his Washington work in commercial development, permitting and construction. DCI is a civil and structural consulting firm, with offices also in Spokane; Portland and Eugene, Ore.; San Diego, Irvine and San Francisco, Calif.; Austin, Texas; and Anchorage.
