SEATTLE — Next week, the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin a $12.2 million fix of cracked and chipped concrete panels on Interstate 5 between Northgate and Shoreline.
WSDOT says the panels were installed between 1962 and 1964, but were only designed to last 20 to 25 years.
