$12M fix of panels on I-5 starts Monday

SEATTLE — Next week, the Washington State Department of Transportation will begin a $12.2 million fix of cracked and chipped concrete panels on Interstate 5 between Northgate and Shoreline.

WSDOT says the panels were installed between 1962 and 1964, but were only designed to last 20 to 25 years.
