Bike infrastructure projects picking up speed in Seattle

  • This fall protected bike lanes will be installed on Second between Yesler and Pike. Next fall a $3.6 million cycle track will start on Westlake.

    The 1.2-mile stretch of Westlake Avenue North between the Fremont Bridge and South Lake Union — with its mix of arterial lanes, parking, sidewalks and service lanes — can be a bit confusing to the uninitiated.
