In Tacoma, GeoEngineers hired Ryan Pearson as a civil engineer in the natural resources group, Chris Newton and Basel Kitmitto as geotechnical engineers and Kate Haney as a project coordinator for SmartMine, the firm's applied technology group. In Seattle, it hired Winston Chen as a senior environmental engineer, John Farleigh as a civil engineer and Johanna Neff as an administrative coordinator. In Redmond, it hired Derek Salinas as a field technician, Kyle Smith as a geotechnical engineer, Tanna DeRuyter as a hydrogeologist, Alexandria Cochrane and Hayley Hinman as geologists, Sharon Paulson as a billing coordinator, David Schwendeman as an accounts payable clerk, Anna Sielski as a recruiter and Jordan Awe as a systems administrator in IT.
