RFQ out for $10M Lopez school rehab

LOPEZ — Lopez School District issued a request for qualifications for a project manager for the $10 million renovation of the K-12 school. Responses are due Dec. 22 and information is available in a notice that appeared in the DJC Dec. 5.

Programming and design will begin in January, and permitting, bidding and construction startup will continue through early 2016. Major construction will begin that summer and continue in phases through the following school year. Completion is set for August 2017.
