In its Seattle office, CallisonRTKL named Paul Makowicki, Matt Billerbeck, Mike Riggs, Alex Shapleigh, Ro Shroff and Ron Singler senior vice presidents, and Darryl Custer vice president. Makowicki will be office director in Seattle, working to elevate the profile of the office and leading initiatives on aviation and light rail. He has over three decades of experience with retail and mixed-use projects. Billerbeck will lead the shopping and entertainment team for the commercial practice group. He will do business development and provide design guidance for commercial projects. He has over 20 years of experience in retail and mixed-use. Riggs will be the regional practice group leader of North America for the retail group and lead programs for stores globally. He over 24 years of experience in retail strategy and environment design. Shapleigh will head the specialty retail team for the retail stores practice group. He has 20 years of experience, including REI stores. Shroff will lead tall buildings initiatives. He has over 30 years of experience, including mixed-use and tall buildings, and will help the firm expand in new markets. Singler will lead the retail stores: Nordstrom team. He was a design principal for the Nordstrom studio and has over 30 years of experience in design and brand strategy. Custer will be emerging region practice group leader for South Asia in the commercial practice group. He has over 25 years of retail design and project management experience. CallisonRTKL has over 2,000 employees.
