In its Seattle office, MG2 promoted Myra Vaughn and David Russell to principal, and Wendy Unzelman to director of accounting. It hired Mark Taylor as an associate principal and Christian Jochman as a senior associate. Vaughn joined the firm in 2012, and was recognized by the ICSC as an emerging leader in the 2013 “20 Under 40” awards. She will continue to develop relationships with retailers. Russell has been with MG2 for five years. He has experience in retail, mixed-use and hospitality markets. Unzelman has been controller for seven years and will now play a more prominent role supporting leadership and project teams as well as assisting the COO in finance and accounting. Taylor will work in the commercial studio. He has spent 20 years working on retail-focused mixed-use and providing design leadership on projects, including internationally. Jochman will work in the retail studio. He has over 18 years of experience, including on department, jewelry and toy store projects around the world. MG2 provides architectural services, planning, interior design, brand strategy and consulting services, with offices also in Irvine, Washington, D.C., and Shanghai.
